Welcome to the 2025-26 school year.
PLEASE READ PRIOR TO MAKING RESERVATIONS
All cuisine and service are entirely prepared and provided by our culinary arts students and chefs at the Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy.
Reservations are required. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. To reserve, please select your desired date from the provided links and complete the reservation form. If a date shows “out of stock,” it means we’ve reached capacity for that lunch. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist, email Deb Young at jcaadeb@gmail.com with the date, number of guests, a name for the reservation, and a phone number. Please note that being on the waitlist does not guarantee a spot.If you do not hear from us the week of the lunch, that means no spaces opened up. Please do not arrive without a confirmed reservation—you will be turned away. Seating is limited to 96 guests.
All guests must present a Florida Driver’s License or Government-Issued ID upon entry.
The Outback Room (our dining space) is located in the JCAA building at the far west corner of Tarpon Springs High School (intersection of Gulf Road and Florida Avenue). Do not go to the front office—it will not give you access to the culinary building. Entry is through the gate located on Gulf Road, two gates west of the main entrance, and two gates east of the Gulf & Florida intersection.
Per Florida law, all campus gates and doors must remain locked when students are present. If a gate is open, it is because a school employee or Level 2 volunteer is present and monitoring access.
The gate will open at 12:15 PM. Please do not arrive early, as the gate will be locked. The gate will close promptly at 12:30 PM. Please do not arrive late, as we cannot allow entry once the gate is locked.
Upon entering the gate and parking, please proceed into the JCAA building. If the gate is open when you arrive but no one is present to monitor it, please wait outside the campus until 12:15 PM when access is officially granted.
Lunch is $20 per person, payable by cash or check only (no credit cards). Checks should be made out to Tarpon Springs High School. Your lunch includes: Amuse Bouche, choice of one of two appetizers, one of two entrees (one meat, one vegetarian—limited quantities), bread, dessert, and your choice of beverage (coffee, hot tea, sweet tea, unsweet tea, or water).
Specialty coffee is available for an additional cost (cash/check only).
Additional bread and desserts may also be available for purchase in the lobby upon arrival (cash/check only).
Instead of tipping, donations are gladly accepted to support the program. A donation box is located in the front lobby.
Reservation confirmations will be sent via text or call on Sunday or Monday during the week of your scheduled lunch. Please make sure to provide an active phone number when making your reservation. Your contact information is only used for lunch confirmations and is not shared.
Once confirmed, you will receive that week’s menu. Menus are not available until the week of the lunch. We do not know the menu for lunches prior to that, as it is based on what the students are studying and what ingredients are available.
Confirming your reservation allows us to order and prepare the correct amount of food.
Please note: if you confirm but don’t attend, it costs the program money as ingredients are purchased and food is prepped in advance.
We understand that things happen. If your plans change or your party size changes, please notify us as soon as possible so we can offer your seat(s) to someone on the waitlist.
Seating is limited to 96 guests in the Outback Room. To maximize space and accommodate as many people as possible, you may be seated with other parties.
Payment is due at check-in (not online). Only cash or check will be accepted (no credit cards).
