Important changes to the lunches:

We are so thankful for the support of our community and look forward to seeing you at the lunches again this year. Due to the increase in food costs over the past several years we have had to increase the price of lunch.  It is now $20 per person instead of $15. You will notice a few upgrades to your lunch experience.

To comply with new state laws, the school entry time has been changed. Only one gate will be used as both an entry and an exit point. The gate will only be open from 12:15 to 12:30. Please refrain from arriving early and forming a line outside the gate, as this is prohibited by law.  Your assigned seating is predetermined as part of the culinary education program, therefore, arriving early will not change your seating arrangement. For security and compliance with the new laws, the gates will close promptly at 12:30. Access to the culinary building will not be granted after 12:30.

Please have your money and ID ready when entering the building. If you have a group reservation, one person can pay while the rest go directly to the ID checking station. After your IDs have been checked, you will be seated in the dining room. No more waiting crammed in that small space for the dining room doors to open – yay!

The Outback Room can accommodate up to 96 guests for lunch. Most of our tables seat 4 people. To make the most of our space and maximize revenue for our program, there may be occasions when you are seated with other guests for lunch.

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year.

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO MAKING RESERVATIONS

Cuisine and service are entirely provided by our culinary arts students.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED (no walk-ins).

You must present your Florida Driver’s License or Government Issued ID upon entry.

The restaurant is located in the Jacobson Culinary Arts Bldg. on the far west side  of  the Tarpon Springs High School campus.

School gate opens at 12:15 pm. Please do not arrive prior to that as the gate will be locked. 

School gate closes at 12:45. Please do not arrive after that as the gate will be locked. 

Cost per person is $20.00 for a 3-course meal. Choice of one of two appetizers, one of two entrees, along with bread, dessert and beverage (coffee & ice tea).  

Specialty coffee available for an extra cost. Cash or Check only.

Additional bread and/or desserts are usually available for purchase in the lobby when you arrive. Cash or Check only.

DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED IN LIEU OF TIPS. There is a donation box in the front lobby.

Please reserve your spot by selecting the date of your choice from the links and completing the reservation form.

You will be contacted Sunday or Monday the week of the lunch to confirm your reservation.  Confirmations will be done via email this year instead of text messaging.  Please make sure you use an active email so you don’t miss the email confirmation coming thru.  Your personal information (email & phone number) are not shared or seen by anyone other than the person confirming the reservation. Confirmation emails will come from JCAADeb@gmail.com.

Once you have confirmed your reservation you will be sent the menu for the week.

Confirming your reservation ensures the proper amount of food is ordered and prepared.

Not showing for a reservation that was confirmed costs the program money as the food is purchased and prepared prior to your check-in.

We understand that life happens, but we do ask that you let us know if you won’t be able to make a reservation or if the number of people in your reservation changes so that we can give your seat to someone on the waiting list.

We can serve 96 people per lunch.

Payment for luncheons are due at check-in.

Only cash or checks will be accepted (please make them out to Tarpon Springs High School), NO CREDIT CARDS.
