JACOBSON CULINARY ARTS ACADEMY IS AN ACADEMY OF DISTINCTION

It takes a village to raise a child. Here at the Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy, parents, students, volunteers, administrators and teachers all come together to make the academy the best it can be.

The academy itself is built on the campus of Tarpon Springs High School. The facilities are very impressive and you owe it to yourself to discover where the students cook every single day.

Parents, students and volunteers work together on their free time, and help under the supervision of the booster club. Brilliant things happen with their help. Click here to find out more about the involvement of parents, students and volunteers.

The academy is part of Tarpon Springs High School. Click here to find out more about our school and its extraordinary, historic community.

The Sponge Cake Pastry Club provides a forum for students of Jacobson Culinary Arts Academy with common interest to network and exchange ideas within the field of baking and pastry.  It also educates the students beyond the formal classroom experience about how to celebrate great food and cooking with a collaborative community.  It provides students access to professional and social network and innovative educational programs.

The club exposes culinary students to industry professionals, and prepares them for a successful career path within the Hospitality Industry.  These experiences and education will serve as a foundation for their future goals.

The Sponge Cake Pastry Club meets twice a month on Wednesdays starting in October.  Meetings begin at 2:00 in the Publix Pastry Kitchen at JCAA.  Students should make sure to have a ride home, a typical meeting last until 4:00.   All students must be in full uniform to participate.
